"Kit Kat" bars

Despite the name, these don't really taste a thing like a Kit Kat. They are, however, a delicious little treat. I found these on Grandma's Desserts, where there are so many yummy looking recipes to try.

Kit Kat Bars

80 Club crackers (2 sleeves)
1 cup butter
2 cups graham cracker crumbs ( 1 sleeve plus 3 FULL squares)
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Line a 9 x 13 pan with foil and line with one single layer of club crackers.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter and add graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, milk and sugar. Bring mixture to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour half of the caramel mixture over crackers. Layer with another single layer of club crackers then pour remaining half of caramel on top. Top with a third layer of club crackers. In another saucepan, over low heat, combine peanut butter, chocolate and butterscotch chips until melted and pour over top layer of crackers. Place in refrigerator to cool. Lift out of pan with foil and cut into squares.
