Katie's Bowtie Festival
1 box bowtie pasta
2 cups cooked, cubed or shredded chicken
3 green onions, sliced
butter
3 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp thyme
16 oz heavy cream
1 cup fresh grated italian cheese mix (you can use all parmesan or a parmesan, romano, asiago mix)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
bacon, about 8 slices - cooked and cut into little pieces
roma tomatoes
Cook pasta, drain and set aside. In a medium sized saucepan, saute green onions in butter, add mushrooms, thyme and chicken. Stir and add garlic powder, cream, cheese, salt and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes and add bacon. Toss with fresh tomatoes and pasta.
